Koenig & Bauer has developed close relations with many sectors of the Indonesian print market over the past few decades through agents or distributors. In addition to making our presence among the leading sheetfed printers, we have also become a major provider of security, metal decoration, and newspaper printing machines in Indonesia.
Indonesia is one of the important growth markets in Asia and has the potential to lead Asia to become one of the most potential regions in the world. Koenig & Bauer believes that they can contribute more and grow faster with Indonesia, by opening a branch company directly. In addition, Indonesia is an important pillar in the Asia Pacific growth strategy which includes large investments in sales and services to develop digital and customer centric organizations, said Rene Ludvigsen, CEO of Asia Pacific.

Koenig & Bauer announced the opening of an official (direct) office in the industrial city of Cikarang, as phase 1. As a technology leader in the printing industry, KBA will not be satisfied to rely on existing achievements. KBA plans to expand its reach in Indonesia’s vast geographical area in the future. The office is fully functional with a dedicated sales and service team. “Over the last few years, we have developed a prominent installation base. And with its direct representative, now KBA will be able to more easily strengthen growth in the Indonesian market, “said Andreas Fredrich, Vice President of Asia Pacific based in Radebeul, Germany. @pg
